La Maison KARL LAGERFELD punta sul green per la Primavera 2021 con una collezione di accessori sostenibili creati a quattro mani con Amber Valletta, modella, attrice e attivista. La gamma di accessori ecocompatibili è disponibile sia online che nelle boutique. Questa collezione di accessori must-have, tra cui una borsa K/Kushion in edizione speciale, è interamente realizzata con materiali innovativi dal minimo impatto sull’ambiente, selezionati nell’ottica della sostenibilità. Tra le novità, l’utilizzo della pelle di cactus: un innovativo materiale di origine vegetale ottenuto dal cactus autoctono nel totale rispetto della biodiversità, senza l’uso di erbicidi e pesticidi e persino senza bisogno di irrigazione. La borsa in pelle di cactus vegana, colorata utilizzando pigmenti organici, è disponibile con finitura plissettata o in una raffinata versione senza cuciture. Stessa cosa per la borsa trapuntata K/Kushion, il beauty case e la mascherina, ritmati da caratteristici giochi di impunture, tutti realizzati in cotone riciclato al 90 per cento in una tonalità neutra e sabbiosa ottenuta con pigmenti organici. Il tessuto è stato certificato dal Global Recycle Standard (GRS). I profitti generati dalla vendita della borsa K/Kushion in versione ecocompatibile saranno devoluti a The Ocean Cleanup, un’organizzazione benefica il cui scopo è ripulire gli oceani dalla plastica. La collezione di accessori ecocompatibili creata insieme ad Amber Valletta, collaboratrice della Maison in materia di sostenibilità, è solo una tra le tante iniziative lanciate da KARL LAGERFELD per raggiungere gli ambiziosi obiettivi ambientali del Fashion Pact siglato dai big della moda in occasione del vertice del G7.

Maison KARL LAGERFELD goes green for Spring 2021 with a collection of sustainable accessories created in collaboration with Amber Valletta, model, actress and activist. The range of environmentally friendly accessories is available both online and in boutiques. This collection of must-have accessories, including a special edition K / Kushion bag, is entirely made with innovative materials with minimal impact on the environment, selected with a view to sustainability. Among the novelties, the use of cactus skin: an innovative material of plant origin obtained from native cactus in total respect of biodiversity, without the use of herbicides and pesticides and even without the need for irrigation. The vegan cactus leather bag, colored using organic pigments, is available with a pleated finish or in a refined seamless version. Same thing for the K / Kushion quilted bag, the beauty case and the mask, punctuated by characteristic stitching games, all made of 90 percent recycled cotton in a neutral and sandy shade obtained with organic pigments. The fabric has been certified by the Global Recycle Standard (GRS). The profits generated from the sale of the eco-friendly version of the K / Kushion bag will be donated to The Ocean Cleanup, a charity whose purpose is to clean the oceans of plastic. The collection of environmentally friendly accessories created together with Amber Valletta, a collaborator of the Maison in the field of sustainability, is just one of the many initiatives launched by KARL LAGERFELD to achieve the ambitious environmental objectives of the Fashion Pact signed by the big names in fashion at the G7 summit.
